About Hege

A love of gardening was instilled in Hege at an early age by her parents. Born and raised in the Puget Sound area, Hege is a garden designer and plant enthusiast.

With an eye for design and composition, Hege specializes in sustainable gardens rich with foliage and textures, and an emphasis on drought tolerance and low maintenance.

Hege earned her Certified Professional Horticulturist title from WSNLA (Washington State Nursery and Landscape Assocition). She is also a Master Gardener serving King County residents as a community educator which focuses on environmentally sound gardening practices. Hege completed the Environmental Horticulture program at the Lake Washington Technical College. She has also helped as a volunteer for the Bellevue Botanical Waterwise Garden and the Arboretum Foundation.
